(Reetu and Lola)
A children’s puppet play about the fear of the unknown, for ages 4 and up. Written for 1 puppeteer.
Reetu och Lola tells the story about two snakes who arrive in a forest where no one has seen a snake before. Through a series of misunderstandings prejudices are faced and friendships are formed. The play is based on an idea by Petter Korkman.
The play was staged in 2016 by Nukketeatteri Ofelia (directed by Salla Leino) in collaboration with Svenska Teatern. Nukketeatteri Ofelia has since toured with the play in Swedish and Finnish (Finnish translation by Sinna Virtanen). The script was also presented in 2016 at the international festival for young playwrights Interplay in Ljungskile, Sweden. The play features songs written by musician Petter Korkman.
